Established to further Leon Levy’s interest in studies of the mind, brain, and behavior, our Fellowships support exceptional young researchers in a wide range of fields as they pursue innovative investigations in neuroscience and advance their careers toward independent research.
As of 2022, the Leon Levy Fellowship is independently administered by the New York Academy of Sciences as the Leon Levy Scholarships in Neuroscience (LLSN). These scholarships aim to promote groundbreaking neuroscience research in the five boroughs of New York City.
Leon Levy Scholarship applicants must hold a doctoral degree and a full-time postdoctoral position at an eligible institution. The first cohort of Leon Levy Scholars will be announced in June 2023. For more information, please visit the program website or contact leonlevy@nyas.org.
