Blair Uniacke, MD received a bachelor of arts from the College of the Holy Cross and her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Following completion of her psychiatry residency training at Columbia, Dr. Uniacke began a NIMH-funded T32 Research Fellowship in the biobehavioral disturbances of eating disorders in the Columbia Center for Eating Disorders. Under the mentorship of Drs. Joanna Steinglass, Tim Walsh, and Daphna Shohamy, Dr. Uniacke’s work brings together advances from cognitive and computational neuroscience to probe reward-based learning and decision making in anorexia nervosa. She has received several awards for both her clinical and research endeavors, including the Barbara A. Liskin Memorial Award, the APA Research Colloquium Award, and the Davis Senior Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Hilda & Preston Davis Foundation for Eating Disorders.
