March 15, 2018 – Trustee Elizabeth Moynihan, accompanied by her daughter Maura, made an on-site visit to the Ahhichattragarh Fort and Palace Complex at Nagaur in Rajasthan, India.  Mrs. Moynihan was delighted to interact with the current students and faculty and see their conservation work and how much progress has been achieved since the program’s inception in 2014.  Nagaur is a unique, beautifully restored palace where the students have a rare opportunity to learn about and put in to practice architectural and painting conservation.  This education and experience provides not only training for art conservators, it raises awareness of the need for art conservation throughout the Indian subcontinent, and will produce the next experts and leaders in the field.
